James & Lewis – An Elegant Celebration at Eastwood Park House
Eastwood Park Wedding Flowers - The Cotswolds

Planning a wedding as a florist is… a bit of a ride. You know all the possibilities (and all the logistics), you want everything to be perfect, and you also want to actually enjoy your own wedding day. Somehow, I managed to juggle all of that — and honestly, it was the most incredible day.
Lewis and I got married at Eastwood Park House on the 28th of March 2025, and it really was everything we’d hoped for: relaxed, elegant, full of love - and full of flowers. Naturally.
I knew from the start that I wanted the florals to feel timeless and luxurious, without being overdone. We kept the palette classic: whites and greens, which suited the venue beautifully. The rooms at Eastwood Park House are already full of charm, so I didn’t want to overpower that - just enhance it with layers of fresh, elegant flowers.
We used a mix of hydrangeas, garden roses, ranunculus, delphiniums and tonnes of textured foliage to give everything that full, romantic feel. I’m usually quite calm with wedding flowers (I promise!) but seeing the urns being placed in situ and everything come together on the morning of our own wedding did bring a proud moment. They were lush and dreamy — and we got so many lovely comments from guests. Eastwood Park Wedding Flowers - The Cotswolds
As with all the weddings I work on, repurposing was key. After the ceremony, we moved the large urns to frame the entrance of the reception space as well as either side of the entertainment set-up. We also created meadow-style boxes, which were perfect for the in-between spaces — making a walkway of flowers that led guests from the ceremony to drinks, and later on to the dining room.
Planning the logistics was a bit of a mission (not going to lie) - a last minute rush to source a larger van was stressful to say the least, but It was a surreal moment stepping into the venue and seeing it all come together, knowing I’d been working on the designs for months, but also having absolutely no idea how it would feel to be surrounded by them as the groom. Safe to say, it felt very, very special.
It was such a joy to finally be on the other side of the wedding planning experience — and to get married to Lewis surrounded by so much love (and so many flowers). I’m grateful beyond words for everyone who helped bring it all together.
If you’re planning your own wedding and thinking about flowers that feel thoughtful, elegant, and a little bit magical… I’d love to help.
